Digital story content has become an essential form of media consumption over recent years. For our motion design course we were tasked to design a short social media story based on a topic of our choice. I decided to design a short story for a list of the top 10 DJs as ranked by DJ mag.

In order to represent the high energy of EDM and DJ culture, as well as to capture the attention of users, I chose a bright and bold shade of blue as the background color. I contrasted this with black and white images of each of the DJs with a bright red outline to have a consistent look, feel, and mood. A short audio clip of each DJ-producer’s signature track was also included to give the audience a sample of their musical style.
